The Path to Fully Autonomous Trains
-
GPS Denied Positioning
Our positioning system maintains high accuracy even in GPS denied locations. As an addition to track circuits and wayside sensors, our robust positioning system will help you know where your trains are at all times.
See a video here of our system running in a GPS denied environment. -
Object Detection
Our software builds on the capabilities of 4D sensors to accurately predict motion of the objects that it encounters. This adds increased safety to the traditional autonomy approach, because we are able to make decisions and detect objects even if we have not trained for them or encountered them previously. Whether there is a landslide coming off the side of a mountain, or a bicyclist riding through the city, our system is able to not only react, but also predict the motion of any potential obstacle in its path.
See videos here and here to see our predictive perception in action.

Handles All Environments
In rail, it is important to have perception/autonomy solutions that are versatile enough to work for metros in urban environments or on high-speed trains going through rural areas. That is why our system is built to be mounted on any vehicle architecture and to be used in any environment. Our team has experience bringing this technology to environments ranging from underground mines to dense urban roads.
